This collection contains minutes, clippings, and a report providing details of Atlanta parks prior to the creation of Park Pride. Also included in the collection are conceptual and master park plans and visioning reports which document the work of Park Pride and the communities with which they partner. Periodicals published by Park Pride as well as conference materials from annual meetings hosted by Park Pride are also a part of the collection.

Included in this collection are photographs of Atlanta buildings and parks. Images include the Atlanta Federal Penitentiary, Piedmont Park, the Cyclorama building in Grant Park, the Hurt Building and Hurt Park, the Municipal Auditorium, Rich’s Department Store, and The Temple and other scenes on Peachtree Street.

This collection consists of Parks Cousins' memories and reminiscences of Atlanta in the 1870s and 1880s. It was sent to the Atlanta Historical Society in response to the offer of a prize for articles on local subjects. The notice appeared in the Vol. 8, no. 32 (Dec. 1947) issue of the AHS Bulletin.

This collection contains material relating to the endeavors of Paul R. Jones. Included in the contents are newspaper clippings, personal and political correspondence, and programs and awards from the many organizations with which he was involved.

Of special interest are club histories that describe the Peachtree Creek neighborhood in the early years of development.

Also included in the collection is a new Atlanta resident welcome kit from the First National Bank of Atlanta and records of the Rainbow Road Race.

Material includes photographs, yearbooks, correspondence, and clippings that illustrate the club's interests and projects. Of special note is a report of the club's civic work with teenage girls from the Oak Hill Homes.

One scrapbook provides details on the club's early programs, projects, flower shows, and interests. Of special note are scrapbook clippings of the first Atlanta Dogwood Festival in 1936.

The collection consists of architectural drawings of projects designed by Perkins and images of himself and family members. A variety of projects are presented in the collection such as the construction of the administration building of the Fulton County Airport (1950-1951); Salvation Army School for officer training (1966); and Lake Shore Shopping Center in Gainesville, Georgia (1963). Of special interest is a black and white print of Perkins at his drawing board in his office.
