Gambrell family papers
George and Pansey Slappey scrapbook
This collection is comprised of a single scrapbook pertaining primarily to newsworthy events in Atlanta, Georgia.
George C. Spence papers
This collection contains a guest book which belonged to the Spence family and George C. Spence's military health card from 1905. The guest book contains the names of the numerous people, many from Atlanta families, who visited the Spence home during the period from 1913-1918.
George Gilman Smith, Jr. reminiscence
This collection contains a 28-page autobiography of George Gilman Smith, Jr. about his life in Antebellum Atlanta. Mr. Smith lived with his parents in Atlanta from 1847-1854.

All of these materials were placed at random between the pages of an otherwise empty scrapbook.
Governor John M. Slaton letters
This collection contains letters, some original and some copies, written by Governor John M. Slaton. Most of the correspondence concerns the Leo Frank court case, Slaton's commutation of Frank's death sentence, and his subsequent failure to be reelected. There is also one letter written by Lucille Selig Frank, the wife of Leo Frank, to Slaton.

Harold H. Martin research material
This collection contains inter-office communications and preliminary drafts in preparation for a Newsweek cover story of Atlanta in March, 1954. The article covered the history and growth, especially the business development of the city. The research and writing was performed by Bill Emerson of the Atlanta Newsweek staff.

John White Geary letters
These papers consist mainly of photocopies (and some transcriptions) of letters written by John W. Geary to his second wife, Mary Geary, while he served in the Union Army during the Civil War between 1861 and 1865. Some letters predate the war, and others are written by John's son, Edward R. Geary, and sent to his stepmother Mary. The collection also includes an index of correspondence and information on the corps that Geary led.
