Most of the correspondence concerns the Leo Frank court case, Slaton's commutation of Frank's death sentence, and his subsequent failure to be reelected. There is also one letter written by Lucille Selig Frank, the wife of Leo Frank, to Slaton.
Grace L. Hyatt memoir
This collection contains Grace Hyatt’s memoirs which she composed in intervals between 1980 and 2002. It includes genealogical accounts of the Lorentzson family and several accounts of her life and that of her husband, Spurgeon. Most of these accounts are recollections of her teaching career in Brunswick, Collins, and Canton, as well as her courtship with Spurgeon.
