Rufus Brown Bullock Bible and letter

Scope and Content

This collection contains a Bible that was owned by Rufus Brown Bullock. The Bible includes Bullock's signature as well as a page of family genealogy. Also included in the collection is a copy of a letter written by Margaret Mitchell (1900-1949) to E. H. Kirby in which she encourages Kirby to donate the Bible to a museum collection.

Rupert Davol papers

This collection contains materials related to the World War II military service of Rupert Raydon Davol. The bulk of the collection is comprised of letters written by Davol to his family during wartime, updating them on his condition and well-being. The collection also includes newspaper clippings reporting Davol's wartime injuries, the awarding of the Bronze Star Medal upon return home, and his death. Ruth and Jean Henson papers
