Administrative/Biographical History

The Rosemary Garden Club of Atlanta, Georgia, was organized in 1933 with the object of "the study and culture of flowers and to stimulate others to do the same." The club is governed by officers elected by members including president and vice-president. The club has hosted and participated in numerous flower shows and is actively involved with several Atlanta churches, including Druid Hills Baptist Church. The club's largest civic project was the installation of a rose garden and plant solarium at the Georgia Baptist Hospital (now Georgia Baptist Medical Center). The club also supported the American Red Cross, the Veterans Hospital, and the Milledgeville State Hospital.
