Of special interest are drawings and advertisements for cotton machinery that Haaga invented and marketed.

Hall County convict flyer

Scope and Content The Hall County convict flyer is a single item offering a reward for two convicts who escaped from the Hall County Jail on the night of June 3, 1887. The escapees were G. V. Ayers, the “noted Harmony Grove burglar,” and Tillman Justice, who was accused of murder in Towns County, Georgia. The flyer contains physical descriptions of each man, noting that Ayers has a pistol wound in his left thigh, made at the time of his arrest by Marshal Tom Hanie. Hamilton Lokey Papers

This collection includes the professional papers of Hamilton Lokey which document his career as an attorney. Personal papers include correspondence, speeches and addresses given during his career in the Georgia General Assembly, as well as a copy of his autobiography The Low Key Life of Ham Lokey and several poems he wrote. The majority of the collection includes court records compiled as a result of litigation against the proprietors of the Winecoff Hotel in Atlanta.

Scope and Contents of the Records

This collection includes public relations photographs of the Georgia General Assembly and the United States Army that include images of Georgia Representative Hamilton Lokey and other unidentified Georgia politicians. The photographed events include a junket to St. Simons Island, Georgia, visits to the Lockheed plant in Marietta, and to the Pentagon in Washington, D.C. Other photographs are campaign photographs taken during parades, presumably in downtown Atlanta.

Hardwick family papers

This collection contains documents from John Wesley and Betsy Mae Hardwick. Materials include club membership cards, a Masonic degree, and a Girl Scout handbook. The bulk of the membership cards are from two Masonic temples, the Yaarab Shrine and the Piedmont Lodge. Of particular note is Betsy Mae Hardwick's notebook that she used to record the Girl Scout badges that she earned.
