Of special note is an image of Rand Peacock (possibly 1835-?), a man who was enslaved by the Connally family. Also included in the collection are signed photographs of actress Emma Abbott (1850-1891).
Continental Society Daughters of Indian Wars records
This collection consists of the membership applications of women wishing to join the Continental Society Daughters of Indian Wars. Each application is listed under the name of the relevant ancestor of the applicant. Some ancestors may have several applicants' forms in their files. Included in each file is the genealogy and research proving relationships and confrontations between native and immigrant Americans.
