This collection contains two prints depicting unidentified African American laborers involved in construction work on Alabama Street, between Pryor Street and Whitehall Street in Atlanta, Georgia, during the early twentieth century. The other image is of the exterior of the Ford Motor Company Assembly Plant located on Ponce de Leon Avenue, which is now Ford Motor Lofts.

This collection consists of a record book from an unidentified cotton ginnery in Meriwether County, Georgia. The records include details such as date of ginning, customer name, pounds of cotton ginned, prices paid, and assigned bale numbers. Fertilizers such as guano (made from the excrement of birds and bats), corn mix, and soda are noted in the records.

This collection includes correspondence, newspaper clippings, advertisements and other ephemera of Mildred Traver Coggin (1888-1979).

Included are images of Russell High School, Harris Street Grammar School, East Point Auditorium, East Point City Hall, the Police Station, Public Library, the Post Office, the Fire Station, and the Atlanta Municipal Airport. Also included in the collection are two photographs of a preserved adobe slave hut located in the East Point area.

Included are photographs of the American Bank Building; Piedmont Hotel; and the English-American Building (known as the Flatiron Building) in Atlanta. Other images include photographs of automobiles, bicycles, architecture, hotels, and bridges.

This collection contains one letter written by Moses Amos in 1907 addressed to Charles J. Hopkins, thanking him for his regard for the African American community; one newspaper article on the Amos family's pharmaceutical work; and one letter by Louise C. Merrits, a nurse, who worked with Mrs. Irby.

This collection contains images of historic buildings: the Georgia State Capitol and Second Baptist Church in Atlanta, Georgia; a group on the veranda of the National Hotel in Dalton, Georgia; and a group posing near Tallulah Falls. Other images feature Mr. and Mrs. Amory Brown of Macon, Georgia; a wedding cake trimmed by Mrs. Amory Brown; Brown Park in Canton, Georgia; and several images of the Battle of Atlanta Cyclorama painting.

This collection is comprised of seven scrapbooks assembled by Mrs. D. Mitchell Cox. Included in the scrapbooks are newspaper clippings on the Daughters of the American Revolution, Georgia Federation of Women's Clubs, United Daughters of the Confederacy, and programs, photographs, and correspondence.

Some of the events of interest include parties at "Pinebloom" (home of the Arkwrights), presentation of portrait of P.S. Arkwright's father, and an ice storm that left Atlanta, Georgia without lights. It also includes a folder with a certificate to Preston Stanley Arkwright from the Greensboro Lions Club for services rendered to the State of Georgia, June 22, 1939.
