This collection consists of three Freedman's bonds issued by Fulton County, Georgia: to Virginia M. Jordan for the eleven year old, black, female orphan, Celia Walker; to John M.C. Reed for eleven year old, black girl named Julia; and to Larkin H. Davis for eleven year old Savannah Brown for their apprenticeship until they reach the age of eighteen.

This collection includes property deeds, abstracts of title, warranty deeds, loan deeds, bonds, resident petitions, claims court cases, wills, and insurance documents presented in the courts of Fulton, Gwinnett, and Walton counties in Georgia.

This collection contains landscape plans, pamphlets, reports, and a directory that provide details on the career of G. Eric Harkness. Materials are from a variety of projects, including commercial, residential, and government clients. Pamphlets show a wide range of interests and topics from ornamental plants to city street planning.

This collection contains landscape drawings and photographic prints that landscape architect G. Eric Harkness produced between 1954 and 1994. A variety of projects are represented such as city planning, commercial and residential properties, parks and urban renewal developments. Of special interest are drawings and plans for Alpine Village of Helen, Georgia.

This collection consists of records of membership, financial statements, questionnaires, and other other forms used in conducting the business of the club.

This collection contains materials that document the civic and social activities of the club. Included in the collection are directories that list members, committees, and calendars of activities. Additionally, a scrapbook provides details of the first two years of the club's neighborhood Ice Cream Socials and traffic island improvements.

This collection consists of personal and business correspondence; copies and original newspaper and magazine clippings; house blueprints; and a World War II dated events map.

This collection contains photographs of the interior and exterior of General John B. Gordon's residence, Sutherland, in the Kirkwood neighborhood of Atlanta, Georgia, taken by commercial photographer Fred L. Howe (1857-1903) in approximately 1895. Also included are several photos of his funeral procession on Washington Street in Atlanta as his body was carried into the Georgia State Capitol building to lay in state.

This collection is comprised of a single scrapbook pertaining primarily to newsworthy events in Atlanta, Georgia.

The collection contains 22 prints of Barnard’s photographs as he traveled with General Sherman's United States Army. Battlegrounds featured in the collection include Kennesaw, Atlanta, Resaca, Allatoona, and Chattanooga, Tennessee. The prints were included in a larger collection published in Photographic Views of Sherman's Campaign.

This collection contains a guest book which belonged to the Spence family and George C. Spence's military health card from 1905. The guest book contains the names of the numerous people, many from Atlanta families, who visited the Spence home during the period from 1913-1918.

This collection includes a letter regarding visitation at Camp Gordon, a bill of sale, a pamphlet, and newspaper clippings on the death of Dr. Andrew M. Soule, president of the Georgia State College of Agriculture and later NRA (National Recovery Act) coordinator for Georgia.

This collection contains a 28-page autobiography of George Gilman Smith, Jr. about his life in Antebellum Atlanta. Mr. Smith lived with his parents in Atlanta from 1847-1854.

This collection contains correspondence, legal papers, genealogical papers, and newspaper clippings related to Judge George Hillyer.
