This collection contains photogravures of locations in and around Atlanta during the early 20th century, including the Georgia State Capitol; Piedmont Hotel; Ansley Hotel; Winecoff Hotel; Second Baptist Church of Atlanta; Carnegie Library; First Baptist Church; and the First United Methodist Church.

This collection contains many of Alex Hitz's business and personal papers. Included are sociel security records, tax return, military records, and general business papers, both private practice and city commission. Hitz also assembled a "Compilation of the State's Grantees to All Land Lots in Fulton County." A family history and genealogy records are also included. The collection also contains Hitz's collection of programs from various Atlanta Theaters.

Also included are programs of the Northwest Unitarian Church, Atlanta Memorial Arts Center, and the Atlanta Ballet. Also included is a flyer advertising a rally against the Vietnam War, and a coloring book of Atlana scenes.
