Sally Eugenia Brown photograph album
The photograph album documents the travels of Sally Eugenia Brown from approximately 1890-1902. Identified photographs show the “Eden Fair” (location unknown) in September 1900; Mount Washington in New Hampshire; Saratoga, New York; and “Storyman Camp” (location unknown) in 1902. The remaining images include exterior views of building and homes, railroad trains and stations, streetcars, ships, and scenes of natural waterfalls. Of note are three albumen prints of Brown and her family.

Sally Fanny Gleaton papers
This collection contains materials that document Sally Fanny Gleaton's career in women's suffrage advocacy. The bulk of papers are from the National League of Women Voters, which include annual convention pamphlets, financials, rosters, and receipts from hotels. Other items include a scrapbook, newspapers and clippings, a "Votes for Women" banner, greeting cards, and correspondence between Gleaton and other leaders and members of the women's suffrage movement.

This collection contains correspondence pertaining to the book The Siege of Atlanta, 1864, by Sam Carter, published by St. Martin's Press in 1973. It also contains a copy of the manuscript.

This collection contains a wide variety of material on the life and career of Sam Massell, Jr. It offers an excellent look at the careers of Sam Massell both as a political figure and as a businessman. There is also information relating to the many civic, political, and business organizations in which Sam Massell was involved. There are thirteen different series with topics such as Civil Rights, speeches, political information, trips, news releases, etc.

Sam White probate court report
This collection consists of a handwritten copy of a report made to the probate court of Hancock County, Mississippi, in 1853. In it, the guardian of Thomas Doby's children, Sam White, states the approximate date and place of death of two of Doby's children, Raphael and Eliza. White also reports the "death by accidental burning" of a slave child, Octave, who belonged to the Doby children.

Samuel Bachtell Civil War letter
This collection consists of a letter written by Samuel Bachtell to his wife in which he describes military maneuvers which led to the capture of Atlanta, Georgia. He also describes the destruction of military property by the fleeing Confederate forces and the joy the army felt about capturing Atlanta.
Samuel Boykin Turman papers
This collection contains financial records, including indentures, bills of sale, receipts, and account books. Among the records are two bills of sale for enslaved people in Georgia. Also included in the material are account books, bank books, and a day planner.

This collection contains the transcription of an oral history regarding the Inman family and the Swan House in Atlanta, Georgia.
Samuel G. French and John Corse Civil War correspondence
This collection contains two letters dated October 5, 1864 that pertain to the Battle of Allatoona Pass. One letter is from Major General S. G. French of the Confederate States of America demanding the commanding Union officer to surrender his troops. The other letter is a reply to Major General S.G. French from Brigadier General John W. Corse in which he refuses to surrender.
