Atlanta Pioneer Women's Society collection
This collection contains correspondence among the society's members, membership lists, biographies of some members, financial records, newspaper clippings, early recollections of Atlanta, and a scrapbook.
Atlanta Real Estate Board photographs and plat maps
This collection contains photographic prints, plat maps, and building plans of properties in Atlanta and Fulton County created for real estate business purposes. Most photographs depict residential and commercial buildings that were torn down to make way for two public housing projects, Techwood Homes and University Homes in 1934. Highlights include appraisal photographs and supporting documents for the Grant Building, the J.M. High Estate, and the Atlanta King Plow Company building.
Atlanta Schools desegregation lawsuit records
This collection contains evidence presented by the plaintiffs (including statistics of some of the county school districts brought to trial), photocopied court documents, photocopied newspaper clippings, and a summary of the lawsuit by legal assistant to the case.

This collection contains Eugene and Dorethia Austin’s high school diplomas and graduation programs from Buford Colored High School, a newspaper clipping about Eugene Austin speaking at Poplar Hill Baptist Church in Buford, Georgia, and a plaque honoring his induction into the United States Supreme Court as an attorney and counselor.

Avondale Estates Garden Club records
This collection contains the records of the Avondale Estates Garden Club from 1931 to 2011. The collection chiefly consists of the Club's scrapbooks from 1944-1999. Also included is a yearbook from 2011 and a history of the Club from 1972. These materials document the Club's civic and social activities as well as special projects.
Avondale Estates narrative history
Longtime Avondale Estates resident Dorothy Partridge wrote this narrative history of her community for a class at Georgia State University in 1992. Partridge drew heavily from contemporary newspaper articles and advertising brochures for the community of Ingleside, later Avondale Estates. The author’s compilation of survey and reminiscences of Avondale Estates residents are also included.
B. W. Wrenn ephemera
This collection contains invitations sent by Georgia governor William Y. Atkinson and by Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Thompson during the Cotton States and International Exposition. The collection also contains newspaper clippings on the entertaining during the Exposition and on the death of B. W. Wrenn in New York City.
Battle of Atlanta Cyclorama collection
The collection is primarily comprised of materials generated to promote the painting and solicit attendance. Also included is correspondence and invitations to special events hosted at the Atlanta Cyclorama site. There are other materials related to reports generated in advance of the restoration project and rededication of the painting and presentations in relation to interpretation at the site.
Bedford-Pine Neighborhood Photograph Collection
The collection includes images of residents and homes in the Bedford-Pine district of Atlanta, Georgia during the early 1970’s. The images depict children playing in the streets and on playgrounds as well as adults outside their homes. The photographs depict dilapidated and condemned housing in the area, a few neighborhood storefronts, refuse, and scenes of the Atlanta skyline in the background.
