Scope and Content

This collection contains three record books from the Atlanta Hook and Ladder Company No. 1. The books contain a record of members and expenses; an attendance record of membership; and the company constitution, bylaws, and meeting agendas. Within the record book containing the constitution is also a note from James H. Campbell Wholesale Liquor Dealer.

Scope and Contents of the Records This collection is comprised of photographs of fire stations and personnel of the Atlanta Fire Department. Also included are photographs of notable fires in Atlanta during the 20th century. Most of the photographs are group portraits of fire companies taken between 1890 and 1928, and include images of fire stations number 1 through 20.
