This collection contains two copies and two transcripts of a letter written by Robert Wigham from Haltwhistle, Northumberland, England to his cousin Isaac Hall in New York. In his letter, Wigham tells Hall that he is sorry to hear of his wife’s recent death. Wigham then goes on to explain various aspects of England’s viewpoint of the American Civil War.
