Scope and Content This collection consists of two letters sent to Ketchum about Georgia's Ordinance of Secession. The first is from an unidentified individual who has travelled from Alabama to Georgia in order to sway the vote of the state legislature. His letter praises the passage of Alabama's Ordinance of Secession, and discusses the nobility of the cause. The second letter, from R. Campbell, is strongly opposed to secession.
