This collection contains a chart detailing every building fire, described either as a dwelling, restaurant, or factory, that occurred Atlanta in 1894. Information includes the location, owner, value, damage, and cause of fire.

Atlanta resident Frank Davenport took these photographs after the fire. One image depicts the damage done to the house of Frank and Emmagene Davenport at 345 Pine Street. Also included are wider-angle shots from an aerial perspective offering a more complete view of the damage.

Winecoff Hotel collection
This collection is comprised of materials pertaining to the Winecoff Hotel fire of 1946 that killed 119 individuals. The scrapbook contains newspaper accounts of the fire and aftermath. The remainder of the material is transcripts of testimony given during courts cases involving victims of the fire.
