Administrative/Biographical History
David Wilson (1802-1880) was born to father Wiliam Wilson. He married Nancy Wheeler in 1823. David Wilson served in the military, and in 1825 he was appointed Second Lieutenant of the 355th district company militia. He later served in the Confederate army. David and Nancy had three sons, James Jordan Wilson (1827-1863), Francis M. Wilson (1833-1876), and John David Wilson (1838-1916). In 1867, John David Wilson married Emma Sentell (1850-1901). The couple had eight children, Alonzo Wilson (1873-1875), John David Wilson Jr. (1875-1943), William Marion Wilson (1875-1896), Robert Lewis Wilson (1878-1879), Elizabeth Harriet Wilson (1880-1881), Nona WIlson (1886-?), James Wilson (1888-?), and Ethel Wilson (1899-?). The family lived in Fulton County, Georgia.
