Scope and Content These papers document the ownership history of several tracts of land in District 14 of Atlanta, Georgia, between 1822 and 1925. Including land lots are 119, 197, 198, 231, and 232. The collection consists of land grants, deeds, and papers primarily of the Childress and Bryant families. There are also papers regarding the land transactions of the White, Thomas, Mangum, Mitchell, Wooten, Thrasher, Guyton, Willis, and Suttles families. Rhodes family papers

The collection consists of family papers, including the Last Will and Testaments of A.G. Rhodes (18 October, 1928) and his wife Amanda Wilmot Rhodes (24 December, 1926). Included are worksheets documenting the dispersal of bequests and legal documents that reference their estate. In his Last Will and Testament, A.G. Rhodes left money to numerous relatives and to the A.G. Rhodes Home for Incurables and Peachtree Christian Church.
