Scope and Contents

This series contains slides, chiefly color, that document Tankard's travels within North America as well as Europe. A large number of images depict historic houses, gardens, and parks in the United Kingdom. Gardens designed by Beatrix Farrand, Gertrude Jekyll, Edward Luytens, and Ellen Shipman are also highlighted. Many images are reproductions.
