Scope and Content This collection contains two prints depicting unidentified African American laborers involved in construction work on Alabama Street, between Pryor Street and Whitehall Street in Atlanta, Georgia, during the early twentieth century. The other image is of the exterior of the Ford Motor Company Assembly Plant located on Ponce de Leon Avenue, which is now Ford Motor Lofts.

Allen & Company department store, Chevrolet Motor Company, Moline Plow Company, King Hardware Company, and the Henry Grady Hotel.
