This collection contains photographs of the 1938 Memorial Day Parade from downtown Atlanta to Oakland Cemetery. The images include Georgia Institute of Technology band, Georgia Military Academy band, North Georgia Agriculture College band, Governor's Horse Guard, Ku Klux Klan, National Guard, "The Old Guard," possibly referring to the Old Guard of the Gate City Guard, Naval Unit of Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta Fire Department, and Confederate veterans memorial.
