Scope and Content This collection consists of two envelopes and three letters written by Dwight S. Allen during the Atlanta Campaign. One letter, addressed to his sister "Mary," informs her that there has been no change in position, although his company has orders to be prepared to move within three days. He tells "Mary" that he thinks the "reb" position is being flanked by other soldiers, and reports that the company is healthy.
