Scope and Content This collection consists of the membership applications of women wishing to join the Continental Society Daughters of Indian Wars. Each application is listed under the name of the relevant ancestor of the applicant. Some ancestors may have several applicants' forms in their files. Included in each file is the genealogy and research proving relationships and confrontations between native and immigrant Americans.

Scope and Contents of the Records The bulk of this collection consists of meeting minutes, financial records, annual reports, membership lists, correspondence, publications, and scholarship fund information. Publications include English Speaking Union News and The Branch Officer’s Bulletin. Also included are the dissertations of Ph.D. students awarded grants from the Atlanta Branch’s scholarship funds to help them pursue their research in England.
