These papers consist of letters, pamphlets and newspaper clippings containing information about Confederate veterans and Confederate Memorial Day. In addition are two scrapbooks of newspaper clippings consisting of stories about the Atlanta Campaign, the Civil War, and Reconstruction which includes letters to the editor and stories written by veterans of the Atlanta Campaign, as well as contributions from other authors.

This collection is comprised of one scrapbook of newspaper clippings concerning Confederate Army heroes and personalities from Atlanta newspapers. Also included are clippings of articles pertaining to Southern Confederate Memorial Day, the Confederacy, and religious topics of the period.
