Daniel and William A. McDougald papers
This collection contains land deeds from Macon County, Muscogee County, and Meriwether County in Georgia, receipts, business records, and legal documents. Of particular note is a bill of sale for enslaved people in Muscogee County, Georgia; a list of enslaved people with ages and brief descriptions; and correspondence relating to land transactions on the part of William A. and Daniel McDougald.
Druid Hills Land Company ledger
This volume contains entries of individuals and companies buying land in Druid Hills. Real estate sales, interest, bills received, cash, and other expenses are recorded. The volume is arranged chronologically.
Erna Lee Mason papers
This collection contains an unbound scrapbook and records collected by Erna Lee Mason about her farm and the Mason family. The scrapbook includes photographs, deeds, correspondence, brochures, and ephemera. Farm records document maintenance and finances, such as acreage reports to the U.S. Department of Agriculture and tree upkeep. The collection also includes newspaper clippings about the Spanish-American War, Glover Cleveland’s presidency, and President Roosevelt’s economic policies.
Minnie Hemphill papers
The collection contains deeds to tracts of land in Georgia counties, including Franklin County, Stephens County, Hart County, Elberton County, and Habersham County, as well as business and tax receipts related to the deeds; letters from, and newspaper clippings about, members of the Hemphill family. Several letters, deeds, and receipts belonged to Roe Cephas Hemphill's uncle, Robert A. Hemphill (1829-1908).

This collection includes property deeds granted in Cherokee County, Screven County, Forsyth County, and Milton County, Georgia, as well as a promissory note. Milton County was merged with Fulton County in 1932.
Thomas Deaton papers
This collection contains Thomas Deaton's financial, legal, and personal papers, the bulk of which pertain to the Civil War. Financial records include deeds of purchase for land and enslaved persons, as well as affidavits of sales. Also included is a diary he wrote while working at a Confederate hospital in which he recorded personal notes, information about meetings, records of the weather, and copied obituaries. Correspondence documents Deaton’s sale of grain to the Confederate Army.
