Scope and Content This collection consists of a letter written by Nathaniel Wiley Harbin to his father about the First Battle of Manassas. Harbin gives an account of the battle, where he acted as a "skirmisher," and describes the rout of the Federal army and the supplies they abandoned during their retreat. Harbin includes a casualty list for his company and writes about the capture of Federal prisoners.

Scope and Content This collection contains transcriptions of letters from Lieutenant Josiah Blair Patterson of the Company E, 14th Regiment, Georgia Volunteer Infantry, A. P.
