Andrew Young candidacy collection
This collection contains documents pertaining to Andrew J. Young's candidacy in the 1972 Georgia Congressional election. These documents include ephemera promoting Young such as mailings, pamphlets, and bumper stickers; materials outlining his political positions; a pamphlet about the general voting process; a biography; a copy of the Andrew Young Campaigner; and a list of voters in favor of and leaning towards Young.

Also, there are technical publications and articles concerning the growth of the Atlanta airport as well as the city's highways. Articles on flouridation and the Chattahoochee River Basin are also included. The collection has various awards and personal effects such as greeting cards, a checkbook, the Hartsfield coat of arms, and letters.

This collection consists of images of William B. Hartsfield, often with others, taken during his later years as Mayor. Also included are pictures of him with family or friends following the end of his political career.
William Berry Hartsfield collection
This collection contains pages from a scrapbook; a copy of a letter addressed to "William;" a thank you card from Mrs. William B. Hartsfield; and two programs pertaining to William B. Hartsfield. Also included are newspaper clippings that cover Hartsfield's elections, activities in office, death, and funeral and memorial services.

This collection contains a 19 chapter manuscript of the unpublished Mr. Atlanta: A Life Story of Robert F. Maddox, written by William W. Brewton. Of special note are handwritten edits throughout the manuscript and calculations of the cost of printing the book in 1956.
