Cherokee Garden Library postcard collection
This collection contains postcards from the Southeastern United States with the majority from Georgia. Images include gardens, landscapes, residences, street scenes, parks, cemeteries, and government buildings. Postcards represent a range of styles and formats with most being in color. Of special interest are gardens, landscapes, and street scenes that document plant materials from the early 20th century.

Ella May Thornton documents
This collection contains correspondence between Georgia State Librarian Ella May Thornton to Alex Gaines of the Alston & Bird law firm about Ms. Thornton's wish to see a miniature village depicting Atlanta in 1864 developed in Atlanta near the site of the Georgia State Capitol. The collection also contains brochures and news clippings on other miniature villages. The proposal did not go beyond this correspondence.
