Administrative/Biographical History
The Tullie Smith House Blacksmith Guild was organized by Alex Bealer in 1973. It was a non-profit volunteer organization whose purpose was to carry on the blacksmithing methods of the 1840s in a shop adjacent to the Tullie Smith House restoration on the grounds of the Atlanta Historical Society. Additional historical information about the Tullie Smith House Blacksmith Guild has not been determined.
