Administrative/Biographical History
Bartow M. Blount was president of both the Blount Carriage and Buggy Company and the White Hickory Manufacturing Company. The factory for both was located in East Point, Georgia. In 1910, he resided at 649 Piedmont Avenue. Apparently the carriage company produced passenger vehicles and the White Hickory line represented commercial and agricultural wagons.
