These papers consist of fashion plates depicting female fashions; tracings of fashion drawings made by Ms. Anderson while a student; biographical information on William Patrick Anderson; and correspondence with author Margaret Mitchell regarding a Japanese translated version of Gone With the Wind.

Administrative/Biographical History

Emma Katherine Anderson worked in costume design and was a student at the New York School of Fine and Applied Arts. She also studied in Paris in the 1920's. Ms. Anderson's grandfather, William Patrick Anderson, was a soldier in the Confederate Army. Additional biographical information about Emma Katherine Anderson has not been determined.
