Administrative/Biographical History

Nita Hughes Black was a reporter for the Atlanta Journal., who later married Lamar C. Rucker. Her mother was Nellie Peters Black (1851-1919), the daughter of Atlanta pioneer Richard Peters, noted for her philanthropic activities.
