Scope and Content
This collection includes copies of documents relating to the appointment of Judge Henry K. McCay as Judge on the United States District Court in the Northern District of Georgia. Included are letters in support and opposition to his appointment; a copy of oath of office of U.S. District Judge; a statement by E. A. Angier of Atlanta giving his views as to the qualifications of the applicants for District Judge; and resolutions adopted at conference of Republicans advising against the appointment of McCay.
