The Ladybugs Garden Club of Lilburn, Stone Mountain, and Tucker, Georgia, was organized in 1989 to stimulate interest among amateur gardeners, study flower arranging, horticulture and landscape gardening, environment and conservation, and the beautification of home and neighborhood grounds. The club is governed by elected officers such as president, vice president, and treasurer and is a member of The Garden Club of Georgia, Inc. Redbud District; National Council of State Garden Clubs, Inc.; and the DeKalb County Federation of Garden Clubs, Inc. Members reside in Lilburn, Stone Mountain, and Tucker, Georgia, and meet monthly to share and learn about a variety of garden topics. The club has participated in numerous beautification projects such as helping students install a butterfly garden at the Atlanta Area School for the Deaf and creating and maintaining a garden for the Dream House for Medically Fragile Children. Since 2014 the club has helped maintain the Camp Creek Greenway, a multi-use trail in Lilburn, where they have also added a wildflower garden.
