This collection contains photographs from the extended Cooper family, Hinton family, Liles family, McKinney family, and Tye family of Atlanta, Georgia, Alabama, Florida, Texas, and Missouri. Included are photographs from milestones such as graduations, weddings, and reunions, as well as baby pictures and school photos.

Administrative/Biographical History
Zenobia Tye (1920-1994) was born in Tennessee. She was an author and educator who helped develop the 1959 guide, A Guide for the Improvement of Typewriting Instruction, Second Edition, while on the staff of the Georgia Department of Education. In 1958, she married Alton B. Parker Liles (1904-1980), known as Parker. The couple resided in Stone Mountain, Georgia. Parker Liles taught at Georgia State University in Atlanta, Georgia, and Zenobia Tye Liles taught English at DeKalb College (later Georgia Perimeter College). Zenobia and her husband were both interested in genealogy and investigated families in their lineage that extended across the South. Zenobia wrote a dissertation titled, An analysis of secretarial science curriculums in public & private junior colleges in the United States as well as the book, Analysis of vocational information on careers for women in business. The media center at the Greater Atlanta Christian School in Norcross is named after Zenobia.
