This collection consists of four images: one ambrotype of Judge Charles Whiteford Smith and one ambrotype of Fannie Hurt Wright, both as very young children. There is also a charcoal drawing of each ambrotype.

Judge Charles Whiteford Smith (1856-1923) served as a lawyer, judge of the Stone Mountain circuit court and of the State Court of Appeals, city councilman, and mayor of Edgewood, Georgia. His wife was Fannie Hurt Wright (1859-1938). Additional biographical information about Judge Charles Whiteford Smith and his wife Fannie Hurt Wright has not been determined.
