Administrative/Biographical History

The West Paces Northside Neighborhood Association was founded in September 1991 by 150 neighborhood residents at St. Anne's Church in the Buckhead area of Atlanta, Georgia. The Association was founded with the purpose of increasing security in the neighborhood and evaluating zoning matters as well as to create fellowship among neighbors. In 1991, the Association created a Security Patrol, made up of local off duty police officers. The Security Patrol is part of the Crime and Public Safety Committee of the Neighborhood Planning Unit, which includes 18 additional Atlanta neighborhoods.
