Administrative/Biographical History
Margaret Maddox, an Atlanta, Georgia, resident, was a prominent female golfer in the 1930s. She first achieved recognition after becoming the Southern Women's golfing champion in 1929. From then on, she was a top contender in the tournaments she entered all over the country. She set the course record for females on several golf courses. She even participated in male golfing tournaments. Additional biographical information has not been determined.
