Administrative/Biographical History

Sterling Price Gilbert was a justice of the Supreme Court of Georgia from 1916 until his retirement in 1936. Prior to that, he was a Superior Court Justice. He was responsible for the revision of the Code of Georgia. He was the author of a number of works, chiefly on leading figures in his profession. His son, Price, Jr., was advertising manager of the Coca-Cola Company for a number of years. S. P. Gilbert was born in 1862 and died in 1951. He was married to Sarah Louise Redding.
