Administrative/Biographical History
The Forward Arts Foundation refurbished the Swan House garage and servants quarters on the grounds of the Atlanta Historical Society. The building was named the Swan Coach House and the Foundation moved in 1967. The Foundation was founded to benefit visual arts projects of the High Museum of Art and to support the Atlanta Historical Society. The Forward Arts Foundation runs a gift shop, art gallery and restaurant to raise money. These scrapbooks were put together by a committee chaired by Anne Carr (Mrs. Julian Carr) in 1997. Additional scrapbook were constructed in later years.
