Scope and Content
This collection contains a handwritten and a typed version of an essay written by John Littleton Jones for his graduation from a public high school in Newnan, Georgia, in 1895. Administrative/Biographical History
John Littleton Jones (1878-1958) was born in Hogansville, Georgia, to Dr. Thomas Jefferson Jones (1849-1916) and Virginia Savannah "Jennie" Johnston (1854-1885). He was employed by the Railway Express Company. He married Frances Arnold Jones (1895-1979) and they had four children. Additional biographical information about John Littleton Jones has not been determined.
