Scope and Content
This collection consists of items relating to Edward Gordon Nabell, Jr., and his family. There is correspondence to Mrs. Edward G. Nabell dated 1909, a copy of Tech High's Senior Class of 1919 photograph, a roster of Georgia Tech's Class of 1924, and greeting cards. Also included in the collection is a journal kept by Myrtie Frank Harp regarding her trip to Europe in 1910. The bulk of the collection consists of materials related to the Atlanta Aircraft Corporation, which Nabell worked for in the 1930s.

Administrative/Biographical History
Edward Gordon Nabell, Jr., nicknamed "Monk," attended Tech High School graduating in 1919. He then attended the Georgia Institute of Technology graduating in 1924 as a Civil Engineer. As a student at Tech, he played football and ran track. He was employed by the Atlanta Aircraft Corporation in the early 1930s as an engineer.
