Scope and Content
This collection contains photocopies of affidavits submitted by Patricia Burton regarding the Battle of Point Pleasant on October 10, 1774 during Lord Dunmore's War. These affidavits were to record pertinent information pertaining to a specific location. They also indicate counties throughout the United States which were named after men who participated in Lord Dunmore's War.
