Southeastern garden clubs collection
Scope and Content
This collection contains programs, guidebooks, and yearbooks for garden clubs mostly from south Georgia, but also from Alabama, South Carolina, and other southern states. Material provides details of membership, meeting programs, flower shows, and constitution and by-laws. Some items document club histories, achievements, activities, and civic projects. Included in the collection are annual meeting and convention programs from The Garden Club of Georgia, Inc. Of special interest are yearbooks with hand drawn illustrations and tips for gardening in the South.
