The Nancy Creek Garden Club of Atlanta, Georgia, was governed by elected officers such as president, vice president, and treasurer. The club was a member of The Garden Club of Georgia, Inc. and the Fulton Federated Garden Club. Virginia Cox Maddox, First Lady of Georgia from 1967 to 1971, was a member of the club and suggested a service project supporting one of the state's mental institutions. In 1971, the club decided to furnish the reception room of the Therapy Building at the Georgia Retardation Center on North Peachtree Road, in Maddox's honor. The club also supported several other organizations such as Grady Memorial Hospital, Our Lady of Perpetual Help Home, and the American Red Cross. Additional historical information about the club has not been determined.
