Administrative/Biographical History

Thomas Cobb Jackson, the son of Captain Henry Jackson, was a young, successful attorney who committed suicide after his friend, Lewis Redwine, disappeared after being suspected of taking money from Gate City Bank where he worked as a cashier. Thomas Cobb Jackson was married to Sarah Frances Grant, who later married John Marshall Slaton, a future governor of Georgia.
