Scope and Contents
This series contains postcards and photographs that document Historically Black Colleges and Universities and their landscapes. Included in the series are institutions such as Hampton Institute, Hampton, Virginia; Tuskegee Institute, Tuskegee, Alabama; and Spelman College in Atlanta, Georgia. Images provide details of campus design, landscape architecture and plantings, lawns, trees, pedestrian, and driveway access.
