Scope and Contents
This series includes photographs of L.F. Montgomery, President of the Atlanta Coca-Cola Bottling company, his son, Arthur S. Montgomery, employee award ceremonies, and meetings with other Coca-Cola bottlers. Featured is a photograph taken in 1948 when the bottling company received its one millionth bottle of Coca-Cola syrup. Also included in this series are photographs taken during the 50th Anniversary celebration of the Coca-Cola Bottling Company, which includes images of Lafayette Montgomery and Robert W. Woodruff, along with other prominent Atlantans such as golfer Bobby Jones, Mayor William Hartsfield, and Senator Herman Talmadge. Other images include a photograph of the 1930 sales force, the 1952 retirement of Harrison Jones the chairman of the Coca-Cola Company, and a photograph plus a metal plaque of Mr. Arthur Montgomery, the President of the bottling company from 1922 to 1940.
