Scope and Content
This series contains images related to Charles R. Yates' amateur golf career and lifetime involvement with the Augusta National Golf Club. Included are images of the 1938 British Amateur Tournament. Along with copies of press photographs are Yates' personal snapshots from his travels related to various golf tournaments and sporting events in the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Canada, and the western United States. Of interest are snapshots and photographs of Dwight D. Eisenhower and Bobby Jones.
