Scope and Content

The majority of images in this series contains aerial and street level views of Atlanta, Georgia, and surrounding suburbs which illustrate growth and change of the city in the 1980's and 1990's. Images include natural and historic sites of Georgia such as Andersonville National Cemetery; Etowah Indian Mounds; and the Okefenokee Swamp. Also featured are images of Grant Park; the Atlanta Botanical Gardens; Agnes Scott College; Emory University; the Jimmy Carter Presidential Library and Museum; Oakland Cemetery; Hartsfield Atlanta International Airport; Cumberland Mall; Stone Mountain, Georgia, and Sandy Springs, Georgia.
